There are several sizes and styles of Victorian Spirit Dolls still available in the Etsy shop.
They are made of vintage porcelain doll parts, antique fabrics and natural cotton gauze and cheesecloth. Cheesecloth was traditionally used by “fraudulent” mediums as ectoplasm.
These dear little spirits are named after documented Victorian mediums and Spirit Guides.
They are treated with luminescent paint which will give off a pale glow if exposed to sunlight and an intense radium green glow if charged with a black light.
